Do you feel broke?
Last week, I got to meet with a couple who are in their 30s and have been very successful in their careers as well as their financial lives so far. The husband told us a story about considering purchasing an electronic toothbrush while they were shopping at Costco, but deciding against buying it because he “feels broke”.
Even with an above average income that many people think they’d love to have he feels broke and won’t commit to spending $80 on a toothbrush.
While I never want anyone to feel broke, I believe this mindset is what has led the couple to be so successful in their financial lives.
Sacrificing your lifestyle now to save for your future can pay dividends.
